How to install classic gravity water filters?

You’re just minutes away from enjoying pure water — let’s get started!

Step 1: Prime the Filters

Before You Begin Installation

To ensure optimal performance, it’s essential to prime your filters before installing them.

This process removes any residual carbon dust and air pockets, preparing your system for clean and efficient filtration.

For detailed instructions, please refer to our priming video guide.

Step 2: Install the Lid Knob

Hand-tighten the lid knob without using any tools.

⚠️ Do not use a screwdriver or other tools, as this could damage the knob.

Our system is designed for easy, tool-free installation.

Step 3: Install the Spigot
  • Insert the spigot into the pre-drilled hole at the bottom chamber.

  • Hand-tighten securely to prevent leaks.

  • Follow the same simple procedure whether you are using the standard stainless steel spigot or the optional water level spigot.

Step 4: Assemble the System
  • Stack the upper chamber onto the lower chamber.

  • Place the primed filters into the upper chamber and secure tightly according to the manual.

  • Attach the lid with the knob.

Step 5: Review the Installation Manual

For more detailed guidance, you can always consult the full [Installation Manual PDF] available online.

Step 6: First Water Run
  • Fill the upper chamber with water.

  • Discard the first 20 liters (approximately 5 gallons) of filtered water, as it may contain initial carbon dust.

  • After flushing, your EuroGuard system is ready to deliver clean, healthy water!
